A Guide to Your Thunderbird Pet Visit

Welcome to Thunderbird Veterinary Hospital! Upon arrival, please let us know you’re here either by phone or sign in at the front desk. Feel free to wait in your car, lobby, or outside on our bench. Ensure your pets are leashed or in carriers for everyone’s safety.
Once we’re all ready for you, our staff will guide you to an exam room for initial checks, and you’ll meet with a veterinarian to discuss any concerns. At Thunderbird Veterinary, your pet’s well-being is our priority, and we strive to make every visit a transparent and positive experience.
Take a Tour
Surgery Room
Surgery or dentals are occasionally needed to keep your pets healthy. For safety reasons and to decrease the risk of infection, clients are not allowed in our surgery room.
Back Room
This is an area that clients rarely get to see. When an animal needs more than a physical examination we may request to take them to the treatment room. We perform x-rays, tests, and other procedures in this area.
Exam Room
After one of our staff gets a baseline for your pets health, you will meet with one of our veterinarians. They will ask about your pets history and give them a physical exam.
Exam Room
One of our staff will escort you to a room where they will take your p temperature and gather a quick summary of why your pet is visiting us today.
Our Lobby
We kindly ask that all pets be leashed or in a carrier for everyone's safety. Sign in at the front desk so that our staff knows you're here, even if you're just picking up medication.
Come Inside!
Once you have parked, please let us know you've arrived by giving us a call or signing in at the front desk. You may wait in your car, in the lobby, or outside on our bench.
